Infant Development and Hatha Yoga
YTT Continuing Education Workshop
August 15, 2010. 12-5pm.
It's been observed that children who struggle to read often did not crawl as babies, and by having them crawl as 10-year olds, they suddenly start to read. Crawling is an important process for the developing body/mind, and is one of many important developmental steps.
The human mind develops in concert with the body, and infancy is a fascinating case-study in how movement and mind co-create each other. By developing an understanding of the Postural Patterns of human development, the Yoga Therapist gains a valuable tool for helping their students resolve long-standing habits of body/mind. Graduates of the 200-hour Alignment Yoga Advanced Studies program or above are welcome to attend this higher-level weekend course.
Tuition $75

Thank you for a wonderful yoga course in which you have so generously shared your knowledge and skills (both yogic and teaching), and yourself. It has been a privilege for me to be in this class.
