In the 8 limbed path of Ashtanga Yoga, pratyahara - the withdrawal of the senses - is often considered the gateway to Raja Yoga, or the royal path. The modern yoga practitioner often becomes disproportionately dependent on the visual sense, not only impairing postural balance, but also hindering the understanding of pratyahara. Practicing asana now and then in the soothing darkness of the mindfold mask will open doors in your practice and awareness of your body.
Includes mask and 1 pair of earplugs.
